Emily Roche, Director of Services

Emily Roche

Director of Services

Emily brings a range of experience in working with ABA providers and insurance companies and has navigated contracting, appeals, and negotiations across multiple payers and states. As Director of Services, she currently oversees the contract, credentialing, eligibility verification, and authorizations for ABA Therapy Billing and Insurance Services.

Emily is motivated every day by the thought that her work is helping children access ABA services and assisting families in getting that care covered. In joining our team, Emily hopes to become an even stronger advocate for both families and providers needing help in other states with both private insurance and Medicaid.

She participated in efforts to expand the Colorado state mandate in 2015 and worked with Medicaid in Colorado to get some of the first providers enrolled in the state. Emily has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Gonzaga University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Health Care Administration at University of Colorado.

Michele Silcox

CEO / Co-Owner

Michele Silcox, CMRS with her 25+ year Accounting career, quickly learned that the basic principles of Accounting apply across all industries. She developed a keen sense of controls and successfully managed teams of accounting staff in exceeding goals for all levels of back office functions. With her experience and desire to help others, she is a seasoned, natural leader and trainer for employees, executives, and colleagues.

For the last 9+ years, Michele has focused her career in ABA administrative services, founding ABA Therapy Billing and Insurance Services, a nationally recognized Autism Services billing, consulting, and credentialing company as well as MKS Consulting LLC where she provides remote and on-site auditing, training, and education providing in-depth risk assessments for providers to support compliance and profitability of their practice. With tighter regulations on healthcare services, providers need to know when they are at risk for non-compliance and remain out of harm’s way of fraudulent activity. Helping providers find that peace of mind is her goal.

Michael Robinson

COO / Co-Owner

Michael Robinson is the Operations Director and Owner of ABA Therapy Billing and Insurance Services. Working in the wind turbine industry for 10 years gave Michael the opportunity to grow his skill sets for reading people, troubleshooting, and the communication of thoughts and ideas, that there is a time to push back and a time to be soft, a time to speak and a time to listen. For the last 7 years, Michael has worked in all aspects of ABA back office support including billing, collections, and HIPAA requirements. He has also worked with contract negotiations with insurance companies and performed authorizations. Michael enjoys working with his team and is ready to meet and exceed your expectations and help with any needs that you may have. Michael and his sister were both born in Denver, CO where they lived a short time before moving and being raised in Fresno, CA.

Julie Hernandez

Executive Director of Operations

Julie is passionate about efficiency and fiscal management. She joined ABA Therapy Billing and Insurance Services in June of 2016. She is involved in developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve account management and customer service. She has a background in small business development and operations, Human Resources, and customer service. She believes that with great internal processes, we can provide our clients with the best customer service in the industry.

In her free time, she loves reading, photography, spending time with her six children, and exploring the beautiful mountains in Flagstaff, where she resides.

Darrin joins us with 20 years of management and human resources experience and is a proud graduate of the University of Oregon. He has worked with large and small organizations in developing their business, management of teams, and providing human resources functions. He’s excited to be a part of the growing and exciting field of ABA Therapy Billing and Insurance Services.

Director of Revenue Cycle Management

Cathleen Lunsford is a Director of Revenue Cycle Management at ABA Therapy Billing and Insurance Services. She oversees multiple accounts, services, and staff for the company. She holds a Bachelors in Psychology from Rutgers University. She has worked in several industries over the course of her 20 plus year career, including sales management, college admissions, HR and recruiting, and lastly the aba therapy insurance field. She is working on completing the CMRS Certification (Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist).

Cathleen has two children, 13 and 11. Her son is on the autism spectrum, which gives her a unique perspective on the crucial services needed for families. Cathleen has seen firsthand the meaningful gains with ABA therapy for her son. She has a passion for advocating for children with disabilities and stays aware of laws and regulations in the industry.

Olivia Alwine

Olivia is a Director of Revenue Cycle Management at ABA Therapy Billing and Insurance Services, where she oversees the proper handling and maintenance of our client’s accounts, which includes comprehensive audits and thorough account updates to our clients.

Olivia has worked in the medical industry in various specialties and administrative capacities for over 8 years. She is a Certified Professional Coder and enjoys keeping herself well educated in the insurance billing and ABA arenas and putting that knowledge to good use for our clients.

In her free time, Olivia enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading a good book, camping in the beautiful forests of Idaho, and traveling the world.
